We are looking for talented and hard working sales professionals to join the DataPop Sales team to evangelize a better way to optimize search & mobile campaigns and drive new business growth for DataPop.

You will own Fortune 500 prospects to drive new client adoption and revenue growth for the company.  You will collaborate directly with client services, product and engineering teams around marketplace product needs / objectives and have significant influence over how we create technology solutions.

Our ideal candidate is a serious hunter and problem solver. You have a passion for finding inefficiencies in the market and providing technology solutions for marketers’ that need to create better ads at Internet scale.  Given this is a new approach to building online ad campaigns, we are a looking for individuals that are familiar with selling emerging technologies that can convey the value to both early adopters and the majority.  

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and evangelize DataPop’s unique position in the online marketing space.
  • Lead sales efforts targeting Retail, Travel, Automotive, Local and other key verticals.
  • Drive business development efforts with publishers, leading agencies and advertising technology platforms.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrating focused sales efforts, understanding of DataPop’s products and business model and an understanding of the search and online marketing environment.
  • Communicate product feedback from customers within DataPop.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years enterprise sales experience with at least 1 tenure of sufficient length to experience complete company and product life cycles.
  • 3+ years successful SEM or other online advertising experience, including experience evangelizing an emerging platform.
  • Proven online ad sales experience backed by a track record of overachieving quotas and a portfolio of results.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and exemplary consultative selling and business development skills.
  • Experience moving a prospect through the sales cycle: from generating leads via assertive cold calling, fostering the relationship, closing the business, delivering value, negotiating pricing/contract and implementing successful programs.
  • Previous history in account management role a plus.
  • A network of senior level relationships and contacts at both clients and agencies.
  • Strategic thinking skills to work with DataPop’s service engineering teams to develop unique, valuable market opportunities.
  • BA/BS required. MBA a plus.
